What precautions are you taking to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, COVID 19?Updated 2 years ago

Being in the food industry, we are always thinking of these types of situations, and food safety measures are already in place to prevent foodborne illness. At this time, there's currently no evidence of the new coronavirus disease, COVID-19, being transmitted through food. However, seeing that there's a lot we don't know about it, here are the precautions we have in place at ALL times - not only through this tough time:

Our facility is SQF certified, which means food safety is of the utmost importance. All employees on the production floor are required to wear masks and gloves at all times. There are numerous hand sanitization areas throughout the floor that employees must use before and after entering the production zones. Any employee that feels ill or sick must go home and cannot return until they're well again.
